Aahhhhhhhh

A couple of weeks ago, I had a busy Sunday. I had meetings that started at 6:00 am and went until 4:30 pm. I was so tired when I got home.

My daughter asked me to lay on the bed and watch a movie with her. So, I agreed.

I know that I did not last very long before I was out cold. In fact, I probably did not even make it through the first 5 minutes of the movie. When I woke up, this is what I found laying on the bed next to me.

The note says: To Daddy, did you here me sing you a good night song? I love you. Love Molli.

Is this awesome or what. Yes, it made me cry but it was a wonderful cry.

Frosty

I love this snowman. Around my house we call him Frosty.

Frosty has a story ~ Irionically, our weather in Utah has been really weird this year. Normally, it is cold and snowy. However, this year it has been warm.

I had been complaining that I wanted a white Christmas. It would just not be the same without snow. Well, I got what I wished for. Over night we got two feet of snow.

So, while I was out breaking my back shoveling snow, my girls came out to "help." I guess I should be happy that their help was just staying out of the way so I could get the driveway shoveled more quickly. As I was working away, I looked over and my girls had built Frosty. This was their first time of builing one together and they did it all on their own.

They were so proud of him and I am so proud of them. It is times like this that make my day. So even though my back hurt after shoveling 2 feet of snow it was worth it to see the smiles on their faces as they finished Frosty.
